                           Animals in Canada
 
                                 Polar bears
In summer they eat plants, in winter they eat artic hares, harp seals and artic foxes. They live for about 25 years.
Climate change is destroying the polar bear's sea ice habitat.
                            Artic hares 
 They  can hop at 64km per hour. They eat mosses, lichens, leaves, seaweed, bark and roots.
                                 Harp seals
Baby harp seals have a white coat for 10 to 14 days. They live for about 30 years.


                                           Caribou
 The caribou eat plants. Their enemies are artic foxes, wolves and bears.
                                           Artic foxes
Artic foxes eat artic hares, caribou, birds and eggs. Their enemies are polar bears and man who huntsthem for their coats.
                            Snowy owl
They  eat mice, artic hares  and birds. They survive in temperatures of  -50ºC.
