Walter Elias “Walt” Disney created Mickey Mouse in 1928, one of the most famous cartoon characters in the world.

 

Mickey Mouse wears red shorts, large yellow shoes and white gloves.

 

Walt was born in December, 1901 in Chicago. His family were Lillian Bounds(wife)and two daughters.

 

He was an American business magnate, an animator, cartoonist, producer, director, screenwriter, entrepreneur and voice actor.

He died on December 15, 1966 in Burbank, California.

Thanks to Walt Disney, we can now watch lots and lots of cartoon and have fun.

Gonzalo, the mummy by Unai

Unai and Gonzalo are at the park.Sudenly,Gonzalo turns into a Mummy. He likes brains. Unai has a very yummy brain that Gonzalo wants to eat.

Finally, Unai finds a potion for Gonzalo and Gonzalo turns back  into a human.

I´m going to write about the 3 young men who founded You Tube, in February 2005: Jawed, Chad and Steve. The 3 of them are computer scientists. Through You Tube you can share and watch videos online for free.

-Jawed Karim was born in Mergeburg, East Germany on January 1, 1979. When he was 13 years old, he moved to the U.S. with his family. He worked at Pay Pal.

-Chad Hurley was born in Pensylvania U.S. on January 24, 1971. When he  was a boy he was very interested in the arts. He became interested in electronics and computers during high school.

-Steve Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan on August 18, 1978.  He 
was fifteen years old when he immigrated to the U.S. He studied 
Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaing, he graduated in 2002.

                                   THE WRIGHT BROTHERS were credited with inventing the airplane.
Wilbur was born on April 16, 1867 in Milville,Indiana.
Orville was born onh August 19, 1871 in Dayton,Ohio,
They were 2 of  7 children.
Iheir father  travelled a lot.One time he brought home a toy helicopter.The 2 brothers played with they toy until it broke down, then,they made one.
In 1903, they invented a powered airplane.
Thanks to their work we can fly.

Peter Henlein by Leire

Peter Henlein,is a locksmith and clockmaker .
He was born in November, 1480 in Nurermberg,Germany.
                     There is not  a lot of information about his life.                  He is often  considered the inventor of the watch.
He became famous through the novel: Der Nurenberger Sophokles.
He died in 1547.

Gymnasts  start training when they are very young .The largest events in the sport are the Olympic Games, World Championships and Grand - Prix Tournaments.

Rhythmic gymnastics is a type of gymnastics.
Rhythmic gymnastics started with  Jean - Georges Novene, Iraegis Delsarte and Rudolf Bude. The idea was altered by different artists.
 In 1962 Rhythmic gymnastics were recognized as a sport by the
 International Gymnastics Federation.
