I'm going to write about the person who invented the bicycle around 1839,Kirkpatrick Macmillan. He created a machine that he could propel without putting his feet on the ground.
He was born in Keir, Scotland on September 2, 1812. He did a variety of jobs when he was a young man before starting to work with his father in 1824.
